Confidentiality Request: Texas law allows water utilities to keep certain customer information private if the customer requests it. This can include your address, phone number, account details, and Social Security number. You may also request that your water usage and billing information be kept confidential, unless the utility’s main water source is a specially designated aquifer. Discontinue of Service: To discontinue service, the request must be submitted by the property owner. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full at the time the cancellation request is submitted.
